What do you do with your chipped crockery?

I'd really like to replace all our crockery and mugs etc as they're all chipped and are cheap Ikea ones but I feel guilty throwing them away in the dump as they are still usable. What have you done with yours? Is there anywhere they would be considered useful?

Megan 🤣😂 she sounds great.

We give ours to DD when she comes to stay. She said once” Why do I get all the chipped crockery?” DH and I replied in unison, “ because you chipped it!” She was very clumsy as a teenager and it really annoyed me because it is Wedgewood Sarah’s Garden.

Bin, I don't keep cracked or chipped since a bowl with a tiny hairline crack exploded in my hand
I honestly can't be assed reusing them in some diy way

Create mosaics with it.

@Megan2018

My mum kept chipped things in a box in the garage, when she was really pissed off she’d go in to the garage and smash the shit out of it with a hammer Grin.
Best idea ever

I throw it away, safe in the knowledge that though it will out-live pretty well everything else in land fill (hence why archaeologists can dig up stuff 1000s of years old) I know it will not cause any environmental harm as it's basically just rock.
