Coffee table fire pit?

Hear me out......
I have a bright idea that I'd like to have some sort of fireplace contained within a coffee table for indoor use.
After a quick google it seems that these are available in a fashion, does anyone have one? Or anything similar?
Just to add, I have no young children or pets, and a fairly good sized lounge.
There is no fireplace in the room at all, so would need to be powered independently.
Anyone care to throw any ideas my way?

No idea never heard of them , I can pass on my household insurers details though, just got a decent deal from them.

Also brush up on your first aid., burns and cuts should cover it.

Looks like it would give out about as much heat as a match

If it's heat you want I'd look at other options

CO2 poisoning anyone?

Obviously I'd get one specifically designed for indoor use 🙄

I think the faff of the fuel i.e. refilling & storage for a fire that size wouldn't be worth how big a fire it looks like you get . I wouldn't be concerned about the CO2 / safety ( well as you say assuming no small children or pets ) - I'd check the ventilation rules though.

To be honest for that size if it is cosiness and effect you are after rather than heat I would get a really lovely hurricane lamp and a huge candle.

That looks more like an old fashioned oil lamp than a fire but each to their own.

Yeah was for a bit of extra warmth, although house is centrally heated, I do miss the illusion of a fire.
No space to put conventional one on wall, so this was just an idea!
They do seem to be a little faffy, although look very nice
Full of big ideas as usual 😂
