We’re planning to replace the very old wooden doors in our kitchen, but keeping the black worktop, dark red range cooker and oak flooring.
We use the room a lot.
It’s north facing and always dark, with a low ceiling.

Cream shaker-style works with everything and is homely. But a bit boring. We could cheer it up with wall colour, but no idea what?
Sage green just looks dingy and nothing in our room.
Pale grey isn’t usually my thing
but could look nice with shiny silver knobs, splashback.
Or forest green, with brass handles/splashback/tap etc. White walls. Could look fab or could look way too dark.

So, any advice?

NoMoteMrNiceGaius- the stove is traditional looking, so I think best the rest of the room is too.
I’m now thinking not dark forest green (just too overwhelming for the room). Will get going with sage green sample paint in same colour as doors , and look for powdery blue colour too....

Can you tell I’m wildly indecisive?!?
