We have had a beautiful built in wardrobe fitted and it feels good not to be living off temporary rails! The cistern from our bathroom is boxed into our room and hence this quirky little space above it. How would you fill it?

Thanks all for the messages. Funnily enough they don’t seem to be collecting any dust. I like the ideas of the books, vases and 🌵

@thisstooshallpass thanks for the reply. It’s a Cottage so we have lots of quirky spaces this is no exception.

Can you get a trailing plant? The green would work well against the wood.

How wide are the gaps- I’m using a phone so it’s hard to tell from the photos.

Chefwifelife · 20/08/2020 09:36

@Shadowboy about 5/6 inches max I would say

I have similar in my bathroom and have put trailing plants there. It works well with identical pots and different plants

Long mirror to cover it all.

Could you get a pull out rail fitted in each gap? You could then store necklaces or scarves there.

Andrex 9 packs would fill those gaps beautifully and you would not have to worry if they ran short again. Amazon do 45 packs (5x9) which would be the right shape

Box file in each one (you can get pretty box files) for all those manuals/paperwork that are too chunky to file.

Or artsy books, the ones too big for normal bookshelves.
