Laminate or Quartzstone? Or another option (not wood)

I know you said not wood, but what about wood effect laminate? That always looks nice imo.

The Silestone Howdens do isn't deep enough. We've had a quote from another company and its very expensive. But is it worth it if its better quality than laminate?
