Outdoor furniture cushions are so thin! Where can I get thick ones?

I've tried googling replacement ones but they seem to be just as thin. I know my lockdown ass is big but I just want comfy cushions. Anyone know a secret place that sells them?!

Are they zip covers or sewn up?

I've had some luck with replacing inners of ones in the house over the with new denser cut to size foam.

For some lovely old chairs i have i cut up and wrapped strips of hemmed old duvet around the slightly flat foam inners. Gives a lovely plumped up effect and they're nice to sit on.

Outside I have Ikea seat cushions from the Applaro range. We've had them for three seasons now, they stay out under a pergola year round, they are what I'd call semi water proof so can be sponged off. The covers get unzipped and washed properly a couple of times a year.

I did consider getting some of those boxy floor cushions from home bargains as theyre lovely, deep and colourful but the covers are fixed so they'd look filthy in five minutes with my tribe.

I ordered two thick lengths of foam to go under ours because they are so thin. It is much comfier. I got them from Foam Direct (no connection)
