What colour paint for hall and landing - orangey pine stairs and doors and cream tiles

Like the long title says, what colour would you paint the walls in the hall and landing. I have orangey pine doors and stairs and I have cream tiles. It is cream already and I don't want to paint it cream. I cannot change the pine or the tiles so I and trying to find something that will change the look. The downstairs is bright and the upstairs landing is quite dark. All doors and no natural light.
I am trying to make my own mark on the house but I do not have a natural flair for decorating so I would appreciate and ideas. TIA?

a lovely very pale blue/green

Thanks for the suggestions. Ooh I hadn't thought of pale blue at all. I had been considering a pale green. I got a few green sample cards and it was so confusing. I want it to be modern and I want it to be warm. Was thinking of painting one wall (wall on stairs) a slightly darker shade just to break it up. I only have one shot at it so I want to get it right. I'm off to look at pale blues now.

I did a lovely sage green color in my hall with very similar stairs/woodwork/tiles, and I must say it's beautiful 😁

Mellow Sage was the name of it I think

I've spent the weekend decorating my hall! Have you got a B&Q near you because the valspar paint I've just used was brilliant. I went for a grey ish sage green. It changes colour in the different lights and seems to be a lively quality.

They have so many colours to choose from and can match any colour to a paint.

Thank you both. I will have a look at mellow sage and the valspar sage.
So many houses have white doors and woodwork that is is very hard to get ideas for my house with all it's pine. I nearly need to see it to imagine what it looks like. I have spent all morning looking up houses for sale and they all have white woodwork. Which is lovely but wouldn't be possible for me to achieve. Thanks again.
