Just moved house. Kitchen is too nice to change but I wouldn't have chosen it myself. It's a very big room, currently painted magnolia. The units are cream and worktop is black granite. The floor is a very dark grey. It looks quite dark despite having lots of windows plus glass doors to the garden. I really want to brighten it up but worry whites would clash with the cream. I've done the rest of the house in Farrow and Ball colour match in the ammoinite, cornforth white, moles breath colour tones so want it to blend with that too. I'm completely stuck.

How about a light stone colour, OP? That might not clash with the cream. I had exactly the same problem - very posh cream cupboards in a house I moved into but I'd never have picked them. Too good to change though. I painted in grey and that looked ok but it's quite a light room generally. I think a light stone might be ok though and should go with the granite and floor too, maybe?
