It's that perfect mix of green grey that I just cannot find.

Tbh it's impossible to tell what paint it is. Each of our screens will show the colour slightly different and even if you located the Paint it could look a completely different shade in your room. I have the same colour in a few of my rooms and depending on sun light, light bulb and direction the room is facing each room looks different slightly. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer

Is this more the colour you're after, OP?

Little Greene paint is the best. It's expensive, but so worth it. You need one coat of this where normally you'd need two with another brand.

Jon65 · 18/02/2019 22:15

Dovetail and dimpsy are not brown and green they are very much grey, but online show as brown and green! You must use a colour chart as online they are so far off their real colour it's hopeless . . .

Pebble stone by dulux?

RuggyPeg · 18/02/2019 22:37

Momo - well you've got to start somewhere and narrow it down a bit otherwise you might as well throw a dart at a colour chart!

The vanguard -, no, in a word! That looks pale green to me, although I agree that little greene is fab.

Dulux grey garden?

Bluesheep8 · 21/02/2019 17:26

It didn't look to have any green on my phone screen, hence the chic shadow suggestion.

goingtotown · 21/02/2019 20:14

Looks like Valspar Ode to Joy @ B&Q.

Processedpea · 21/02/2019 20:26

I have been looking a blue-black type colour recently and the only place I found anything like it, was within the sherwin williams paint swatches: www.sherwin-williams.com/architects-specifiers-designers/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family#/color/6214

There are a couple on there that look like the colour you are after. I have tried to link to the palettes, BUT, I don't know where they are stocked if you are in the UK. However you could bring in their swatch to a paintshop and try and get it matched.

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 22/02/2019 01:56

Where did the picture come from OP?

A British website? Pinterest?

RetiredNotExpired · 22/02/2019 16:55

FWIW, I've recently had the whole house redecorated and my decorator was happy to have my Valspar colour choices matched but refuses to use Valspar paint.

I have F&B Drop Cloth (colour matched) in the kitchen and in lower light and artificial light it looks remarkably like the pic you've posted! There's is nothing else green in the room from which it could be picking up a colour tinge.

I would seriously recommend getting some sample pots: paint a large piece of lining paper and move it around the room at different times of day and see what you think. I have both living room & dining room painted in the same very dark green, there's a glazed door between them and they have the same carpet but one room faces south and has a voile blind at the window, the other faces north, no blind. The south facing room looks more blue than green at times.

partofthewind · 03/03/2019 19:10

It looks like F&B Cornforth White - I have it in my living room and it's a greeny grey.

Missnearlyvintage · 06/03/2019 17:01

Dusted moss by dulux? It’s one of the mixed colours that you can get darker or lighter versions of.

GG20 · 08/03/2019 11:27

I found what seems to be the original picture here: www.instagram.com/p/BurQMpKHz2i/

One of the comments from the designer (I assume) says that the colour code is "S4502-Y" (ncscolour.com/product/s-4502-y/) - maybe it's possible to get it mixed by Valspar or Dulux?
