This is not my house, photos off Pinterest.

But my house is the same layout.

Decorating this weekend and thinking of going for grey, then a blue/teal round the fireplace.

It's Dulux Pebble Shore and Mint Macaroon.

Is the two tone look a bit dated now though?

I like it. I think it looks calm.

I'd be careful with the mint macaroon, we tried it and it was like a real mint green rather than the delicate duck egg you might be looking for.

Our living room is those colours so I obviously like it!

I think these colours together look fresh but restful. It helps that the flooring is quite a light tone.

Thanks seastargirl I've got mint Macaroon in my bathroom and it is a bit different to how it looks in these photos, though that's in a silk bathroom paint.

Are there any other shades you'd recommend?

We liked farrow and ball Teresa's green, but got it colour matched at dulux trade, it felt a bit warmer than the mint one.

I used a Dulux Heritage Clear Skies recently and love it.

I think it's lovely. Really restful.

Doors and dining table is much better!

Well, if you’ve got it in your bathroom, at least you know better what it’s like. However, I swear paint is made by mischievous elves. I’m fed up of trying to get the right shade for each wall to get the look I want. The elves blame the sunlight.
