What's the best wall colour to go with orange cushions?!

Hi,
I'm about to have my flat redecorated and am trying to find a warm neutral background colour for the walls that will go with a taupe sofa and orange cushions. I love the idea of an off-white that is a bit creamy but not too yellowy, but I can't find anything suitable - the colours that looked right on colour swatches ended up looking either pink or orangey on the walls. I probably don't want beige, although I haven't completely ruled it out. I need to have a very light colour as the room is small and I want to maximise the light. If anyone has any ideas for something suitable, I'd be super grateful!!!

Dulux Jasmine White is nice...slight creamy hint and goes with pretty much everything...their Antique Cream is lovely.

I actually came on here to say I would go for navy with orange but then saw that you want something light!

Light colours make rooms look bigger. What about an ink blue colour?

If your budget stretches to Farrow and Ball, Pointing or Matchstick would be nice.

Blue and orange go well because they are complimentary

That was supposed to be light rooms make rooms look smaller, dark colours make rooms look bigger.

Teal? My small lounge is similar to F&B Vardo. I considered orange accents!

I was coming on to say a very dark, chocolate brown - but then saw that you wanted light!

We've got an orange sofa and behind it is Dulux Trenchcoat. Works well.

I have F&B bone on the walls with black sofa and orange cushions in my kitchen. It looks great.
