Is this wallpaper naff?

So, DH and I are slowly decorating our new house. Our room is going to be a light purple shade and we were looking for wallpaper for the wall behind our bed. I was at B&Q and I saw this (pic attached)

Is it naff? We're in our 30s. Is it the kind of wallpaper someone younger should have? Will we hate it once it's up? Is it too garish? Or am I just being too safe? Our previous house was very boring, all beige and magnolia. I'm wanting to be a bit more daring. It's only for one wall.

I'd have it in a heart beat if it only had the NY pictures, I can imagine it on the feature wall in our kitchen. Also in our thirties!
