Dulux rock salt, considering for living room, anyone used it and willing to share a picture

I have natural calico/natural hessian on my walls at the moment and I am sick of it. I want brighter and less yellowy. I like rock salt on the dulux app and the tester looks good on the wall but I’d like to see a whole or part room done in it. Would anyone be willing to share experiences of using it?

Did you hate it after a while! Did it disappoint?

Do you love it? Would you be willing to share a picture?

I’m tempted to combine with dusted moss on the chimney breast.
The room is north facing.

I have used it in a house stage so no pics
Pale true grey. It was in a darkish north facing room and looked great.

This is it. You can only really tell it's grey when it's against the white skirting, my bathroom has no natural light. I do really like it. I have chic shadow in my hall and polished pebble in my living room Grin

Ooo that looks good. Glad to hear you both have good experiences in darker rooms

Not sure if that worked. Go to google. Type in rock salt dulux, press return, then click on images and you will have loads of rooms to look at with it.

Thanks Fiery

Hi, I had it in my kitchen and really liked it. The kitchen was quite a bright room and the paint was really pale grey. I don't think I have a picture though and moved out of there a few months ago. I'd get it again. I also had polished pebble in my hall.

Thank blue goose

I have it in the spare bedroom. I love it and would use it again in other rooms.

blueberrygoose · 29/06/2018 22:20

I found a photo- it does look almost white here but when it's actually against white (ceiling/ door frames etc) you can see that it's grey. Go for it!

Would anyone recommend rock salt in a dark hallway with very little natural light?

FluffyLittleUnicorn · 23/05/2020 21:57

I have polished pebble (darker than rock salt) in my hallway which has barely any natural light and I love it but think rock salt could have been a good alternative. I am going to use rock salt in the bedrooms when I get round to decorating them as they also don't get much natural light.

Bucksmum123 · 17/10/2020 23:00

So which is darker rock salt or polished pebble please as want lounge re painted ? Thanks

Bluesheep8 · 18/10/2020 07:32

Polished pebble is darker, I've got it in a bathroom, will post a pic
