Should I haggle with Hillary's blinds?

just got a quote from them and it seems high. is this a company one can / should haggle with ?

Yes do it. I did and got a huge amount off.

They are notorious rip off merchants. The starting price is always a joke, like Thomas Sanderson or the double glazing cowboys. They’ll pull out a ‘special, limited time’ discount for something massive like 30-50% if you SIGN TODAY MrsRefusetobeasheep. It’s all about incentivising to get that sale signed NOW. Who cares if the price has been artificially inflated to make it look like the discount is generous? .

If you can, I’d get a couple of other quotes. Hilary’s are not the only company in the marketplace and there are lots of places that offer just as good quality and service with a much more honest pricing structure and sales technique.
