DH thinks it's chavvy - I think it'll make going to the loo and doing make up more exciting.

Thinking brilliant white with subtle sparkle. Although may accidentally throw more in...

What's MN opinion?

I would, for an ensuite or a cloakroom. I wouldn't be brave enough to use it in a bigger space but I'd secretly love to. Would definitely make a bit of a statement in a cloakroom though.

It's not something I'd choose but if you like it, go for it. It's your house! I'm a firm believer in using what you love & not worrying about what anyone else thinks of it.

As a minimalist I have to say no!

Nameuser22 · 20/05/2018 07:59

I’m assuming you mean the valspar sachets you add in? If so it will look good. I think glitter paint is a bad description though as it’s far more subtle, more shimmer than sparkle - I’d go for it.

Yes the sachets - i saw it in someone's house and it was just lovely the way it catches the light like you say - looks like it's a 50/50! I think I'll go for it - I'm privately owned and what's the worst that could happen? Grin

Oh do it. (Unless you're planning to sell soon). It'd be my idea of hell, but life's too short to care about other people's opinions on your bathroom decor.

I love it. It looks like plain paint until the light catches it, it won't be like a sequin wall.

Monty27 · 22/05/2018 23:38

It's a no from me. Shock

Geneticsbunny · 26/05/2018 09:44

Do it. But max it out and put a disco ball on the ceiling which automatically turns on when you close the door maybe with some Tom Jones on autoplay.

Buy a really large canvas and paint that with glitter paint and put it up in the bathroom.
It'll stop an itch Smile
