F&B Whites?

Right you F&B experts, I’ve got to get some testers today after a colour disaster. I need a soft white.

Wevet ~ is this grey?
All white ~ is this stark or soft?
Wimborne ~ I think this will be too yellow

Just painted our entire loft room in slipper satin incl ceilings (they are vaulted so didn’t want the join line) It’s awful, looks a muddy green. Gutted after all that work!

There is very little natural light in the room. I even tried Dulux Timeless on a wall to correct it, too yellow!

Please help!

Yes so it’s warm rather than anything else (so not blue or greenish for example) but not as yellow as pointing

Also the people on their stores are really good at suggesting shades, if you’re close by you could take a pic they might have a good idea

@solasun our daughter’s bedroom was painted Borrowed Light on walls and Wimborne White on woodwork & ceiling. She wants the same again in our new house. I like Wimborne as it looks like a regular white but not at all harsh.

Reading with interest. Shaded White (kitchen), Slipper Satin (bedroom) and Joa's White (lounge) come up as slightly green in our house.

Pointing has come up as far too cream in the hallway. Maybe we'll do it in Lime Green next time around to match all the green-ness?

Must be our artificial lighting, which is on the yellow side, or mostly northern aspect light.

Hello, I've just come across this thread, which I know is a few years old but hoping someone picks this up and replies!

I'm looking for some guidance- I am planning on painting my walls in Wimborne White, but i'm unsure if it'll look too bland/stark if I also paint the skirting and frames around the doors in the same colour.

Has anyone done this? Or, what other F&B colour would you suggest that goes really well with Wimborne White for the skirting/wood work/door frames?

Any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated!

Sorry this is a while down the line since this post was made. Just wondering what finish you used on the Wimborne? Was it a f&b or a colour match? Would be super helpful!

I just got a Valspar paint match from B&Q, looks great. Or you can go to a decorating centre for a match. They know all the codes.
