Any experience of French Bedroom Company?

We are about to move house and thinking about a new bed. I’ve nearly persuaded DP into a rattan French style bed....anyone used the French Bedroom Company? Some personal experience very welcome!

Their customer service is ridiculous and they use a delivery firm that is rigid and can't agree a delivery time. Also the goods are nice but very expensive overrated I feel

Agree with CocoMitzie. I ordered a bedside table which was broken upon delivery. I opened the packaging after the 7 day time limit and despite spending almost £1000 with the company, the best they could offer was 10% off a future purchase. At their prices, it is honestly cheaper to shop elsewhere. Disppointing customer service, I will be shopping elsewhere in the future

It’s 6 am and and can’t take a picture but we spend nearly £3k on a bed (Versailles was called I think) and within 18 months the headboard fabric fell apart.
I’m waiting to be transported to the upholsterers but when I shown it to him he was horrified of how rubbish and cheaply it was made. He did ask why didn’t we buy an antique one but with a 6’3 DH all antique beds of this style were too short.
They said it was wear and tear but you’d expect them to last more than a couple of years.

Voila! Normal tear and wear after 18 months.
The supposedly silk is so thin and bad quality that 3 upholsterers thought it wasn’t even fit for a shirt nevermind a bed.

Hi ladies, I have just had an amazing experience with The French Bedroom company. The girls were really kind and helped me with all my questions about design etc. My new bedroom furniture arrived last week and the delivery men put it together for me. i am IN LOVE with it. And today in the post I got a hand-painted present from the French bedroom company too.

They're my new favourite company, honestly, i can't fault them.
