Anyone bought sofas from The Lounge Co?

We have been let down by John Lewis buying two sofas in their clearance and started looking elsewhere and this company came up with good reviews but very new.

Has anyone used them?

We are popping into their showroom tomorrow

Hi, I had my sofas from the lounge Co delivered beginning of December and I am so happy with them. Definitely the best choice and so comfy. Really excellent service too. Hope you found something you liked in the showroom

I've just realised there is a Lounge Co showroom not far from where I work. I will pop in tomorrow and check them out.

I've been looking at Sofa.com too - any other companies in this vein worth looking at?

How did you get on OP?

I like the styles but found the fabric choices a bit of a let down. I'm looking for something pretty bright and find their velvets all a bit neutral.

They do a family friendly easy clean range which is quite appealing.

So many choices to make when buying a sofa!!! I've been to Lounge Co, sofa.com and Sofa Company.

Fabric choices are where we are struggling.

I knew instantly what we were having for the sofa and know what I want for the armchair but they don't do it.

Despite being part of the Duresta / G plan group you can't pick one of those and pay a premium either.

They also didn't have in the showroom the one I went to see (wasted two days with a young baby on finding that out)

We have chosen a different shape but they wouldn't swap the feet from one of the other sofas they have and although I'm ok with an alternative sofa shape, the feet matter.

And now with the fabric choice not seeming to work out I'm just stuck and going round and round in circles.

It all started out so promisingly,

I emailed them to say I was disappointed that after being told they displayed all sofas that we found they actually didn't after two round trips to different showrooms in 40 miles apart from each other.

I received an email back as an apology and wishing me well on my search for sofas.

The reviews online made them seem like the most helpful company, but it's not my experience.

I will say - they are by far comfier than any others we tried in this price bracket.

They come from a good manufacturer and so I'm holding out for now to see if I can sell myself a different fabric and the wrong feet before giving up.

I had just cancelled an order from G Plan the week before as John Lewis had messed me about with their clearance

So many options and decisions involved isn't there?

I'm leaning towards Sofa.com. Bit more expensive perhaps, but they have the styles and the fabrics. Good quality too.

ive been looking on and off at sofa.com.

think i might give them further consideration too...

what fabric / styles are you looking for?

I've been looking online and have visited their Chelsea showroom a couple of time.

I'm liking these - max length for me is about 230cm & the DC really want a chaise:

they are all super comfy.

I also love these sofas - bit more adult though:

Same style I'm liking Grin

ha! Are you also considering a canary yellow velvet Grin - it's bonkers but I love it. I'm also loving Ganges orange possibly for a snuggler/love seat.

Can you get to one of their showrooms? The one in Chelsea is pretty big with a good selection. Staff are lovely, very friendly. I've not been to any of the others.

I am also buying a bed and have been in the same process - liking many totally different styles. Happily after weeks of confusion and overload, I walked into a showroom on Sunday and then and there decided on a bed and mattress - it's a massive relief to have those decisions made.

I've ordered some fabric samples for curtains, and I will make the final decision re sofa once I can see those and think about curtain fabric/colours properly. the DC and I are making mood boards :)

I like this! Price seems a bit cheaper than Sofa.com, but website isn't so clever.
