Classy shower curtains (no flamingos)

Humour me. Please.

I moved into a new house. The shower curtain is perfectly serviceable but looks grotty (brown mouldy stains).

I was in a shop and they had a lovely cheerful shower curtain; see-through with flamingos and palm trees and pineapples. I loved it and was almost at the check out when I thought WAIT!! STOP!! NO!!

Because i am always drawn to bright rainbow nonsense. I love it. The gaudier and sparklier the better. But then, at the same time, i so wish i lived in a classy, grown-up house.

So, classy grown-up Mumsnetters, please link to a classy, stylish shower curtain. I'm looking for something that says "hey, i love challenging literature and dry white wine, I appreciate opera and salted sea -food. I know who I am and that's a stylish grown-up and I don't need to express that with a shower curtain".

Any ideas?

Oh now I love that goldfish one. I'm in a dilemma now.

We have this one which has lasted well without going mouldy- which is a plus. Boutique hotel it ain't but it makes me feel cheerful.

I got a really nice one from ikea that I've had compliments on because I got the matching towels!

lineyy I have a Map of the Word oilcloth for the kitchen table which has also proved helpful for Pointless! Ougadougou, capital of Burkina Faso, very well done if you got that at home for the Final Round :o

smithin lots of people keep plants in the bathroom, I'd have thought! Myself included.

Just back from a hotel stay and they had something like a pp has suggested - plain white waterproof on the inside of the bath and a nicer, waffle fabric hanging from the same hooks but falling on the outside of the bath. Covers up the damp inside curtain and would mean you could wash and replace the inside one as needed, whilst having something a bit special on the inside (like that gorgeous Anthropologie flamingo one you posted OP!)

Ours has flamingos on it. I also have a lot of plants. I'll grab my coat.

I love plants in the bathroom.

Which ever beautiful shower curtain you choose, if you get one of those cheap £2 plastic ones for the inside, then when it starts going mouldy you can just change that, saves replacing the expensive ones all the time.

It's Ferm Living you'll be looking for in that case. They're not cheap but they are nice.
