What colour walls with dark lime contemporary 1960 s style sofa and chair ( Kubrick chair , Richie sofa - made - sorry can't do links !

White ? If so what shade - I gave the farrow and ball shade chart and maybe a white shade ????

Fireplace is black Victorian open fire with orla keikey type pattern curtains , wood floor , bay window .

Grey - a dark charcoal. What wood do you have in the room? Flooring?

Sounds like a lot going on.. Agree with a deep grey. We have one wall with a dark grey and it gives a great contrast.

A navy colour could work well too. Are the curtains orange etc? Love orla keily

You could go dark and [[https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/87/1b/c2/871bc2884a528bdec04c88de20010ccd.jpg dramatic] with grey walls - perhaps using mustard or orange as accent colours?

Similarly a dark, stormy blue might look effective

What colour is the chair, and what's the main colour in the curtains? IMHO you need a colour to pull everything together, and I don't think white would be quite right.

The grey looks fab
Have just looked on the orla Keiley web site and sofa she shows cushions on is displayed in a white room ..
I'm so bed at this / wish not bought sofa m chair now as I loved the green walls which are still there but too much green now ! What about very pale green ?
