Thomas Sandersons Blinds - best laugh I've had in years!

I need blinds for a very large bay window made up of 7 huge floor to ceiling windows due to the fact that my husband cocked up designed them beautifully I can't have curtains!

The blinding sun this week has spurred me to get a quote for binds, someone in work recommended Thomas Sanderson as apparently they're amazing, great quality etc etc. So today I spent nearly 2 hours with one of their reps going through designs, fabrics etc and I settled on two that I liked. He promised me a good price and luckily the fabric I liked best was on offer and the final price? was £5976 for one bay window!!

So I've got a local company coming out tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone knows how much Thomas Sanderson overcharge by compared to other companies if at all? If I knew that I should be able to get it done for 40% less it would help me massively as at the moment I'm not sure that I'll ever be afford anything

Some doughnut from Thomas Sanderson came to my house and quoted £22000 for some Duette blinds which was more than the windows cost .
When I complained to the head office they sent another guy who quoted £6000
It’s called ‘trying it on ‘ but all these companies do it specially wardrobe and double glazing companies.
To be fair their blinds are fabulous and are fantastic insulating against the heat or cold so Izvestia forgiven them but always be prepared for the idiot who initially visits
