want to paint garage door a farrow&ball-esque colour, what paint?

the only garage door paint i can find is in a very small range of colours (red, blue, white, black), but i would really like a soft grey/green colour.

its a metal up and over door, anyone else painted their garage door, which f&b paint (if any) is ok for external use?

I was going to do mine last year and bought some of this. We didn't get around to it though and I am dying to know what it looks like. What colour were you thinking of?

that's the kind of colour i want on your link, a soft grey/green. we usually would use something like hammerite with it being a metal door but the colour range is so limited. will check out the sandtex as it'll be cheaper than f&b eggshell.

That's why I chose it. Let me know what it's like when it's on. I am still waiting for dh to do it (it's his job!)

If you do go for it, of course Blush

Valspar paint can be mixed in any shade.... They can also colour match. Take in a f&b colour chart, they will colour match your chosen shade and mix it in their exterior gloss or satin

V v popular. This is in B&Q only

i've gone for hombase's own brand, weathercoat. its a soft green/grey but the colour isn't on their website, it was reduced, only £14.99, so i think its a discontinued shade. satin finish rather than gloss.

door is scrubbed and have sanded it a bit, not painted yet though!
