Am looking at the grey colour charts at moment as need to decorate our study.

For those of you with grey schemes... what colour curtains do you have?

Would consider a fabric which contains some similar grey within its pattern but with a lighter colour as the main design. Perhaps the other colour could harmonise to some extent-blue springs to mind. Otherwise a real splash of colour. Sorry, not much help.

In the kitchen white roman blinds, in the snug a sort of dirty lilac (purplish grey) colour.

cream...very soft and flattering with the lighter greys...

I think texture really matters as well as colour for curtains.

I have floor-length grey curtains in a lighter grey bedroom, but it's a very soft dove grey and the fabric is quite heavy and ever so slightly shiny. Cost ££ but worth it!

Deep purple in the sitting room with a light grey, bright orange in the dinning room with dark grey and emerald green in. Edson with mid grey. Love grey!!!!!

I have light grey in 3 rooms. in my kitchen with orange curtains, my boys have grey with a white roman blind .... and in my room grey with dark charcoal grey curtains.

I was going to do grey with emerald green in the bathroom (which looks fab together) but though I had too many grey walls. so flooring went grey and walls went emerald Grin

cream and grey go well together too. good luck, grey has endless ideas!...

We have greyish walls - F&B elephants breath and little greene tusk. Windows have natural linen roman blinds and white plantation shutters.

applecatchers36 · 29/01/2015 18:41

We have got pale grey, Sanderson 'birch White' and the curtains are a deep reddish pink.

Devora · 29/01/2015 23:45

I have F&B Blackened in the bedroom, which is a light bluish gray, with purple curtains. It looks beautiful and restful in summer. In winter it gets a bit dour, and I cheer it up with light, bright bed linen.

Grey looks fabulous with most colours, doesn't it? I love it with yellow, orange or white.

I have pale grey walls and curtain in a John Lewis fabric called Tilda

I don't have PVC curtains btw (honest!) - that was the first link I found to the design Smile

I have grey walls in the living room, and have cream based curtains with mauve and green floral patterns. We've got light grey sofas and purple and muted green accessories to tie it all in.
