Wanting to recover cushions in caravan...unsure of best colour to go with the wood

Okay - so we bought a caravan over the weekend and I want to make some covers for the cushions ( & re-do pelmets/tie backs, etc ) - at the moment they're a typical caravan colour scheme of random patterned biscuit & terracotta type cushions. I've had a look on pinterest but it's all either very retro ( 50's diner type look ) or Cath Kidston-esque vintagey look. Neither of which would suit as it's not an old van.
The units are that lovely ( ) orange beech colour ever popular with caravan manufacturers and I'd quite like to find something that goes with it.
If you could choose a colour scheme to go with the lovely orangey wood - what colour scheme would you choose?

I would go with blue, a complete contrast

Why don't you go a large caravan dealership and look around the vans there and see if you can pick up any ideas.

A dark blue or a teal type blue anyfucker? We don't have a dealership very close by allmycats and also I think they're all of the similar ilk when it comes to the upholstery fabric used and that's really what I'm trying to get away from.
I'd like a 'look' ie a retro 'look' or a vintage 'look' but just not either of those..... I am truly confusing myself so goodness knows how anyone else is meant to make sense of my ramblings!

I am not into vintage, I like clean lines so I would choose a deep plain blue

Funnily enough I was thinking of maybe using either these or these - making like a fitted sheet type cover just for the larger cushions so they can be removed easily ( 2 dogs and 2 young DCs ). Then getting some nicer cushions and possibly just storing the others.
If I were to choose grey I thought that some nice lighter grey/yellow/teal/hot pink cushions would be nice. If I went for the teal covers for the larger cushions - what colours could be used for the smaller cushions?

yellow/pink I would not use with the orange tinged wood

I like earthy colours, not everyone does

Not that confident but my mum is - haven't put this project her way yet but I'm certain she knows it's coming!
