Alternative to a row of billy bookcases for living room storage?

We need a storage solution for our knocked through living/dining room, mainly for toys. We want to maximize the space by going as high as possible. We also want doors on the storage so it looks tidy. We would want to use approx 15 feet of one wall . The only thing I can find which would seem to work would be a row of billy bookcases from Ikea with doors and height extensions.

Any ideas? TIA

Also I don't want to spend too much as we intend to extend in a few years. thanks

Besta are deeper than Billys if you're happy to go Ikea, and needier space. You can get nice glass doors too I think. Our Billys are a bit crap; our Bestas seem to be better quality.

Or you could get something built in?
