Does anyone have any suggestions on the good worktop fabricators so I can go direct and get a better price?

I am looking at getting some stone worktops for my new kitchen. I am getting the kitchen from Magnet and because they are acting as the middlemen I think this is greatly increasing the prices. Does anyone have any suggestions on the good worktop fabricators so I can go direct and get a better price?

My husband and I also bought our kitchen from Magnet and they quoted us almost £4500 for the worktops. We ended up going with a firm called Worktop Factory. The worktops came in under £3000 and we are very happy with them.

We haven't used them yet, but have looked at a guy in Glasgow who was much much cheaper than the price quoted by kitchen studio. Will try and find them for you.

When you say stone, what exactly do you mean? we got our kitchen from Magnet but wanted granite worktop so went to our local stonemason who did it for about half the Magnet price.

there's an online company called graniteman, used them a few years ago, very reasonable
