Are any of the Cambridge Museums going to be interesting to capture the imagination of a 4 and 5 yo?

Any feedback gratefully received!

Oh yes, the fitzwilliam definitely will - lots of things there - my older two used to love the knights and the eygyptology dept. haven't been there for ages but want to take dd4 asap. Also, I beleive the folk museum is much more child friendly nowadays.

Ah, great, I had wondered about the Fitzwilliam - popped up on a days out feature in the Times.

Thanks. Just making my list for the holidays... 5 days and counting....

Mine like the zoology museum and opposite is the Sedgwick which has dinosaurs and glittery rocks - it isn't very child friendly but you could pass half an hour - hour in there but don't take a buggy as its up lots of steps!

duxford air museum? 4/5yo's maybe a bit young.

Sedgwick!!!

Tis fantastic for that age - all those bones! Same with the zoology, they do drawing competitions and stuff in the holidays too. Would have thought the Fitzwilliam would be a bit beyond a 4 year old though - much more of an old fashioned 'shh be quiet' kind of a building if you know what I mean?
