First holiday abroad for 4 children - any ideas?

Would like to take my 4 children abroad this year for the first time. Thinking of taking the car to France? possibly west coast then the Pyrenees. They like beaches and surf. Any recommendations or tips for France or anywhere else would be great!

I would mobile home it every time. Keycamp/Eurocamp/Canvas are the big players.

If you want surf then my opinion would be to head to around Biarritz - BIG waves. Le Vieux Port at Messanges has a footpath to a good beach with big atlantic waves.

But get looking, these are getting booked up fast.
