Jersey with 4yr & 1yr old

Closer to home, cant see us spending huge amounts this year and time is running out to go futher afield...Ive always fancied Jersey. Seen some nice hotels. Would like baby sitting in the evening, high chairs etc but thats its really as dont see the point of childcare in the day (except on the odd occassion). ANy recommendations? Like fancy top end breakfasts, nice rooms (inter connecting if poss) nice personal touches and great evening meals (but keen to eat out as we love fish).

Had a really nice 'family' feel to it. The indoor pool complex was wonderful, with a flume and well-heated outdoor section. Staff very friendly, couldn't have been more helpful (especially as we had to stay a extra day thanks to the Icelandic volcano ash). The main hotel restaurant was good but the Italian-style one was great, and there were lots of lovely restaurants in St Helier which was a few mins walk through a pretty park.

Went when DS was 4
Had kids club from 6.30 - 9 (or thereabouts) with kids tea before. Gives you 2 + hours on own. Lovely!
In terms of what to do

1. Durrell zoo - really good
2. War tunnels. OK not a kid thing but I really enjoyed it and nice cafe
3. The beaches are great - particularly on south of island
4. Walk to lighthouse

Enjoy - Jersey is great - and 5 days is just right
