Flying with baby to Spain

Hi ladies,

Looking ahead, we'll be flying in Nov/Dec with our little one (who will be a few weeks old then) to visit family in Spain. Have you got any recommendations as to best airlines to travel with babies? We are based in Yorkshire and ideally flying into Valencia or Alicante, we could do Barcelona at a push. We cannot do flights leaving at 6 am or things like that, because we will be travelling to the airport by public transport. I am trying to avoid flying with Ryanair if possible! Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

Other than "not Ryanair" it's actually probably more important to get a flight at a time and to a location that suits you (so that your journey overall is as smooth as possible) than to use a particular airline.

Most airlines do priority boarding for families with small children, let you gate check buggies, etc., and at a few weeks old they'll all be pretty much the same for your baby once you are on board.
