Once the barrier opens, WALK down the hill via the slides. You will get to SkyRider... if that is not busy, go on that. Note: min 0.9m
Then head down the hill further going PAST MiniLand and to Duplo Playground. Have a play at Duplo Playground (chance for you to grab a take-away coffee from Duplo Family Restaurant).
Go on Fairy Tale Brook and Duplo Train.
Watch the puppet show - 11.30am Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Then head quickly down to Lego City and watch the pirate stunt show - 12 noon - whilst eating your sandwiches.
If the Green Train (orient expedition) is running - it doesn't always, sometimes has limited running times during weekdays - then take a trip on that. Then head to the Diggers if your child likes those. Ride Desert Chase (carousel) and perhaps Aero Nomad (think this has 0.9m minimum).
Go over the bridge and turn left and go to Pirates Landing area. If liked, go on Pirate Falls (min 1m). Grab a take-away coffee from Crossed Ribbs BBQ and let your child play at the rear of Pirates Training Camp where you will find wooden boat play structures (go UNDER the main wood structure to access).
Once you have recovered... Dragons Apprentice (min 0.9) and The Dragon (min 1.0) roller coasters are a short walk - if you/your child like roller coasters.

Then make your way back around the park however you like... some rides a 3 year old may like include:

Spinning Spider (min 0.9)
Longboat Invader (min 0.9)
Dino Safari (min 0.9)
Balloon School
Boating School
Chopper Squadron

Head back up the park via Mini Land to look at the models.

Coffee and Ice Cream at Papa Moles.

Bob The Builder or one of the other 4D shows at the Imagination Theatre.

Take towels and cossies for the water play area. Also hats and suncream.

nannynick · 05/06/2010 15:09

Don't take Towels and Cossies - then you have a reason not to let them in the water play area! Or AIBU in not letting children play there... hmm, maybe so... but I don't want to lug around swimming things as well as everything else.

On that subject... take a buggy, even if it's just for the lunch to sit in!

You mean person nanny nick! Go in the big dryer thing then!

Take food and drinks with you as pricey in park!

Get there for 9.30am and you should have clear run at most rides - head for back of park - Duploland and you will get round quite a few rides swiftly before queues build up.

It's in arrvo from about 1pm that we notice it got more busy so plan to do shows and cinemas then.
