has anyone ever tried this route? What was it like?

Yeah, we always used to go that route when it was Superfast Ferries (it's now NorfolkLine). It's great - saves you having to drive through England. Pricey, though! I think we paid about £500 for a car and cabin for four - one way.

Has it not stopped running?

It was fantastic when we used it 5 years ago OMG feels like last year.

We went a few years ago. Going out was great, like a cruise. Coming back, I have never been so sick in my life and vowed I would never do it again. It seemed like such a long journey, but was good to be so near home when we docked.
