3/4 night UK hotel break over half term - help!?

DH has been quite stressed out at work lately and really needs a break over half term. Have DS (7) and DD(2.5) so need a family friendly hotel (with child friendly pool and rooms)

Was thinking around Cotswolds or Bath area (so I can go to the Mulberry factory shop in Shepton Mallet ) but would not rule out other areas. We live in Warwickshire so are fairly central to everything.

Any suggestions/recommendations welcome!

What kind of budget?

There are the Luxury Family Hotels group, who have a property in that area I think. Also Babington House (not cheap!) and Calcot Manor (again, not cheap!)

Slightly cheaper and v family friendly is The Evesham Hotel - bit eccentric though!

Don't really want to spend more that £180 per night.... fact that it is a bank holiday weekend and half term is not going to help!

Not sure if I should wait right till the last minute to get a good deal?

The only one of those I have listed that would meet your budget is the Evesham one. I am sure there will be others that I don't know, obviously! You may get something last minute - although possibly not in the location you want.

The Evesham hotel is completely nuts, but super lovely. We now live in the area, but stayed there when we were looking to move here, and I have never been anywhere so genuinely friendly and helpful

3 places that may fit the bill from the reviews section.

Thanks for that notyummy. Have booked 2 nights at Tortworth Court for bargain price of £159 per night (dinner and breakfast inc)

Your review really helped and the lady on the phone was lovely!
