how much was it to stay in the hotel?

we paid £165 for a family room - in actual fact it was 2 rooms with a connecting door.

We needed to stay over as we had an early flight, so the free parking was a bonus for us

we live in manchester the only reason we want to park is that don't want to take baby in taxi

Janbo, call a taxi firm and request a babyseat? I have done this in the past for DD. (£50 ish for parking, would a taxi be cheaper?)

iota · 01/08/2005 11:53

my idea not much use to you then Janbo

gingerbear · 01/08/2005 11:53

Or take your own seat and ask taxi firm to look after it for you.

Janbo25 · 01/08/2005 11:55

well i think taxi would be around £40 return so hoping to get parking for similar??

Are you going for 1 week or 2? You won't get 2 weeks for £40.

gingerbear · 01/08/2005 11:58

8 days at Autostrong is £36

Janbo25 · 01/08/2005 12:07

2 weeks at the moment i can get it for around £54

Would advise against the long term car park if returning late, I was quite rattled by a group of 'hooded youths' when I picked my car up at around 11pm...
