Just had a week in Tenerife. Probably 2 weeks in south of france in summer.

Hersetta · 14/04/2010 08:50

We've already had 2 weeks in Egypt for some lovely winter sun. We've hired a loved child friendly villa with pool for 2 weeks in June and then finally off to Spain (Murcia area) for a week in September to visit my Mum.

Ruthiebabes · 14/04/2010 09:07

Child friendly small gite complex in Charente Maritime, France for 2 weeks in August.

10 days with Canvas at Parc Albatros in Tuscany in July (bloody long drive!) for pools/beach/kids club then we are going to spend a week driving home to Brussels.

Plan is to stop off at Lake Como for a bit a of George Clooney --stalking scenery, and then Switzerland, as DH is a huge Sherlock Holmes fan and wants to visit the Reichenbach falls. We might also squeeze in a visit to friends in Bavaria if there is time.

3 whole weeks! We have said we would do that for years but this year have saved up, and skipped our normal week off work at Easter - weather as been shit so quite glad really. Can't wait!

ToddlerYears · 14/04/2010 20:50

any more for any more?
I'm currently thinking about NYC for the week of DD's birthday in May and then a camping trip in the south of France for a couple of weeks.
With a couple of weekends camping in New Forest and/or Cromer

Just back from 10 days in the Loire Valley, France and stopped for 3 days in Paris on way down. It was lovely.

Week in Marbella at the beginning of July and I am having a girlie holiday - probably Ibiza - in August.

thatsnotmymonkey · 14/04/2010 21:16

fivegomad can you send me a link please, am looking for similar, but a tad pricey.

We have just come back from Edinburgh, off to southern Brittany for a week at the end of may and then to Tuscany/Pisa for 11 days in August in a very chic villa. Very very excited!

Maize · 14/04/2010 21:16

Went to Eurocamp in Ardeche River Gorge near Avignon last year, very very hot, good river fun, paddling, kayaking etc. Too hot to sightsee really.

Eurocamp in Vendee this year, will be a wee bit cooler than south of france. Plus motorail from Calais has gone bust so south is too long a drive for me.

Cottage in Anglesey for half term, praying for good weather.
