Single Mum 40th Birthday with 2 dd's Any Ideas

Hi I'm on my own and celebrating my 40th in August - bang in school holiday times hurrah! - I've inherited some money from my lovely granny and have decided to splash out on a weekend away with my two, aged 6 & 3. We live in Hampshire and would prefer not to be driving for too long, about 2-3 hours max. Any ideas very gratefully received. Thanks

Im quite often going here there and everywhere with ds as Hubby works shifts.

What about w-end in Windsor tie in with a trip to legoland

or London - boat trip, Rainforest Cafe, Regents Park

thanks supreme - don't fancy london as ex lives there! highly unlikely that we'd bump into him of course but dd1 would wonder why we're in london and not seeing daddy!! windsor a good idea though.......will investigate thank you

Perhaps try a 3/4 nt cruise from Southampton, great child care so they will have fun, and you can be pampered/ relax and then all go and explore...... have nice meals on board.
