we're thinking of going with some friends. we all have a toddler of similar age. so 3 sets of mummies, daddies and toddlers.

what is the best/ cheapest arrangement of chalet to book.

could we get one big one or do we need 3 little ones?

how old are the toddlers? I think if they are under 2 you could all go in one 3 bed chalet with 3 cots. Otherwise the biggest accomodation they do is for 8 people so you'd have to have 2 lodges

If all the toddlers will sleep in travel cots, you might be ok with a three bed chalet, but it also depends on the bed arrangements in each room i.e. some may have twin beds which are on either side of the room so not ideal for couples. There may not be enough room to have a cot in each as some rooms may be smaller than others, and therefore pose a fire risk where they prevent quick exit. My friend was told she couldn't put two travel cots for her twins in one bedroom with her and dh for this reason, however she went ahead with it because the others they were sharing with were only friends, and not granny, which might have been acceptable. I haven't been to cp for some years, so things may be a bit different now.

I think the three bed chalet to share would probably be cheapest. Obviously, splitting into separate chalets isn't ideal from a sociability/baby sitting point of view, but sometimes can be got round by having mums socialising in one chalet and dads in another in the evenings, thus covering baby sitting.

The boys would be about 18mo when we go.

Think we might have to split as I'm not sure ny long ds will still fit in travel cot at that age!

Yes the biggest is 4 bedrooms. If you put the ages in, with 2 18 month olds, they would allow you to have one chalet, it's just a case of whether you would want to or not. Even if you said they were in travel cots, you would get a bedroom with 2 beds or a double in, so you could squeeze two of them in a bed, or rotate the nights of the cot?
