Hi,
I am taking my 2yo and9mo down to Rochester, Kent over the Easter bank hol to visit the bloody inlaws

Can anyone recommend any days out to keep the kiddies happy and stop me dying of boredom?

Any ideas very,very much appreciated!

I can't really think of much actually in Rochester that would keep really little ones occupied if you are looking beyond ball parks/swimming etc. Rochester castle is a bit dull, but Leeds castle is easily within half an hour away, and we had a great day out there last year; my 2yo found lots to do, there is a park and an aviary. Tyland barn is down the A229, I haven't been there myself but the dc have and seem to have enjoyed it. hth

Chatham Historic Dockyard (not far from your IL's)is really good. They often have holiday activities. There's lots to see and think your 2yo would enjoy seeing the ships etc. It is also enjoyable for adults! Try googling 'Days out in Kent' or somethinglike that. Good luck.

I think the weather might be abit pants this weekend, but if not I will definitely check out the Dockyard.

The castle I will keep in mind for the next sunny weekend we are down.

Thanks ladies!
