Did you look at moneysupermarket? They usually have something.

Ours comes as part of the bank account

looked at msm - lots of really good deals/quotes for £60-70 for annual family but when you look at what they offer the cover is very poor ie. cancellantion £800 - our hol just booked is £2,500!!! personal money payout if lost/stolen £200 excess £100!!!!

Im shocked really.

AA seems best at £106 for great coverage

I use Atlas Direct. I used to do annual family (there are 5 of us) for about £74. This year I just took it out for our 2 week US trip. It was £28. (Think the excess is about £100). I have had to claim before and they have always paid up without question. They are the cheapest I've used.

I have an annual family policy which has good coverage including lots of sports/hazardous activities and medical coverage for USA/Canada. It is with Direct Travel Insurance and I purchased it through quidco.com with £17 cashback. It was £94 before cashback. The only stipulation is you can't travel to Cuba on it, but not planning any trip there this year.

I thought annual would be cheaper as we plan to go away twice perhaps - just looked at single trip cover and its well cheap even if I take it out twice a year still alot cheaper!

Thanks will now searhc for single trip insurance!
