has anyone been to pontins recently

i went to the Blackpool one a few years ago and it was really run down , has now closed. i have heard they have done the others a make over. so, was wondering about prestyn.
doesnt lookm like it has a half board option though.
does anyone have info / experience ?

I went to the one at Camber Sands several years running. The 1st time I went (about7/8 years ago) I thought it was great value for money. But the last time (last year) I no longer thought so. Admittedly we were staying in a budget apartment but it but nothing had changed in the 8 years we had been visiting. If it has been made over I would definitely go back though I've heard nothing.
