I'd like to go in May, to see the Freud exhibition, with dd (6.5) and my quite new, and very wonderful boyfriend. It will be our first holiday all together, and I'd like to find an inexpensive hotel which can put an extra bed in for dd. Any great thoughts?

thanks

Hi, check out Waldorf Madeleine Hotel 12 Boulevard Malesherbes, Paris, 75008 and HOtel Unic, 56 Rue du Montparnasse, 75014. Stayed in both and was happy overall. Asked to change rooms at Waldorf because room was tiny but I've stayed in more expensive Paris hotels (for work) and rooms were also tiny. Both hotels were fairly basic but clean and staff were friendly. I've heard that the Citadine apartments can be good value too, especially if you have a child with you and might need extra space and/or kitchen facility. Enjoy.

Hotel Brighton on Rue du Rivoli.
Stayed there 3 times now with DH and DS. Always had no problems with an extra bed and rooms are surprisingly spacious for paris. Great views and next to the Jardins de tulieres for space, pony rides and merry go rounds.
