Dicken's World in Chatham

Just spent a family day out at Dicken's World and had a fantastic time. All three children thoroughly enjoyed it (they're 12, 10 and 5). Would say it is the sort of place you could only go to once, but we spent a good 5 hours there so definitely got our money's worth!!

We went when it first opened (literally day 2), and all I could say at the time was that it had potential. We only managed 2 hours and had lunch in the outlet mall opposite.

I'm glad that it has improved. It is a great idea.

Did they have the boat ride then? Took dd2 on it - not realising it went backwards down the waterchute in the pitch dark until it happened, was amazed dd only went all chin wobbly!!! DD1 was quite disgusted when she realised she was on an 'educational' day out - but by the end admitted she'd had a whale of a time.

Yes, they had that. It was pretty good for an indoor place.
