Singapore - Expectant Mothers Visa?

hi, I wonder if anyone else has experience with this.

we're travelling to Singapore (amongst other places) in the next few weeks and I've just noticed on the e-ticket that it says women over 24wks pregnant need to get a special visa to enter Singapore - I did a little research and it seems that it takes 4-6 weeks to process the visa.

this is pretty grim news as, well, we don't have 4-6 weeks before we enter Singapore and I'm quite obviously pregnant (will be around 32wks when we get there).

Any experience entering Singapore in late pregnancy? Did you have this visa? Any trouble getting in? I've emailed the Embassy for more information but quite concerned in the meanwhile (flights are all booked and we're supposed to be visiting friends there!)

thanks!

yup, just had an email back from the embassy confirming that all I need (in addition to the usual requirements) is a letter from GP saying there are no complications with the pregnancy.

phew.
