Do you think it will be necessary (other than a character breakfast) as we are going next week? we have the free meal deal. Thanks

No I don't think you need to . We never had a problem and we went in July. HTH

yeah - to get a decent time at a decent restaurant, do it - there's a number you call and they sort it for you

Best meals we had using the free meal vouchers as part payment were Cafe Mickey and The Steakhouse. Walts wasn't all it was cracked up to be and the waitress had no clue about the vouchers.

Thanks, I've heard Cafe Mickey was worth doing.

Hi, we're going at Easter and have booked the meal plan deal and anything I've read recommends that you book restaurants in advance. We were last there in January 09, after school hols had finished, and found it difficult to get into some of the restaurants in the evening or could only get a very early slot in the hotel restaurant (Disneyland hotel). So probably worth booking to be on the safe side. Depending on the vouchers you have, some can be used for Buffalo Bills wild west show and you definitely need to book that in advance. Enjoy!

At one meal in Cafe Mickey we had Mickey, Minnie, Robin Hood, Donald, Daisy, Balloo, the baboon from Lion King, Goofy and Tigger swing by our table for hugs, photos and autographs - no need to waste money on a character breakfast. And go to the lobby outside the Disneyland Hotel restaurant from 7 - 11 every morning for another character meet opportunity (no need to go in for breakfast)

WHat time do the restaurants stay open to in the evening? We are going to get there quite late.

We have got meal vouchers booked but do we need to book seats in the restaurant. If so how do you do this - is it only by phone?

Hi agnesf.
I have just seen this thread. Is it too late to help you now?
