Anyone know Brittany?

We're about to book a camping holiday in Brittany and have opted for a site on the coast near Fouesnant. Has anyone been to that area? What's it like?

you should be able to cash in euro travellers chaeques at the local french post office with no charge - that's what we did last year.

Grew up in Hayle (fab beach!). I'm sure you'll like Brittany. The bit you're going to is quite 'French' (with apologies to any Breton nationalists!). The northern part of the coast is more like Cornwall (IME, which isn't vast). You'll have a great time.

We're going to Normandy this year, quite near Cherbourg. We planned to go to go from Poole to Cherbourg, but it was SO expensive, that we are going to go from Dover instead and stay an extra night in a hotel - it's actually cheaper to do it like that .

Have a great time.
