Reasonably priced, self catering accomodation for a large group in south of france in summer - any suggestions ?

There will be 7-8 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. Would like somewhere with a pool, or near to the sea...

My sis likes south brittany, probably because she had been there a couple of times, but does anyone else have any recommendations for areas we could look at, towns, villages etc ?

All ideas welcome, I haven't been to SOF since I was about 12 so no idea what I'm looking for ! We need family friendly, bike friendly ideally, golf nearby would be nice.
