dh & his siblings co-own a house on the north coast of Cornwall which is normally let out for the summer (crucial income for being able to keep it). A letting has fallen through so it's available on weekly basis for the next three weeks - to Sat July 23rd. The usual price is £1000/wk, but apparently it's now negotiable.

two beaches either side ? Gwithian with a view of Godrevy Lighthouse of Virginia Woolf fame - which is an excellent surfing beach, and which has a very good café for lunch and supper, and Fisherman?s, a secret cove down a cliff path.

good access for galleries, restaurants and shops in Hayle, St.Ives, Penzance, Truro.

5 bedrooms ? 3 doubles and two singles; 2 bathrooms ? one w/ shower, one w/ bath; large kitchen with table, large living room; all conveniences ? microwave, tv, dvd, gch, drinks fridge, toys, books, beach towels, etc 2 large gardens.
We use it ourselves and find it's perfect for couple of families sharing - up to 9-10 people altogether.
