Taking a car seat with easyjet - do we need to pay extra?

We need to take dd's car seat with us when we fly with Easyjet this week. However as she is 6 the car seat is too big to go onboard and therefore will need to be checked in. Do we need to pay extra for this? I think I know the answer to this , but I just want to know before I pay yet more money to easyjet. I can't find any number for their contact centre on their website to be able to ask the question.

Thanks

Hello
I think you can take carseat and /or pushchair for free.

We took our car seat (baby one) on for free and had the option of putting it in the hold or taking it onboard, it just fitted in the overhead storage.

Thanks. There's no way it would go in an overhead locker thingy, but as long as it can go in the hold (and we don't have to pay ) I'm happy.

Thanks champagnesupernova. I'm guessing I'm just fretting as dd is 6, not 3, however I'll take my chances and not give them any more of my cash .
