Can anyone teach me how to pack? I am a disaster I take enough clothes to last a month plus

2 pair of shoes
2 skirts each with 2 tops & a cardi
Trousers with 2 tops & a cardi
2 spare tops that match either skirt or trousers (in case it's cooler)
a sundress

plus a going out skirt & top or dress

Plus 2 shorts, 3 swim suits & 4 beach tops -

does that sound too much? Will I need a coat?

Oh hell I hate going on holiday - it is great once I am there but the whole getting there is crap

i think its better to have too much stuff than too little
clothes? you need to look at complete outfits. so for example, you will be there seven days, so will need seven outfits, plus travellin clothes. you need to think about how often you want to change clothes or not, or whether you want to wear something dressier in the evenings? will there be any special events?
if you intend to spend your days lazing on the beach, then two sets of jammies, two swimming costumes, etc should be fine. but if you intend to go trekking in the wilds, then you need hiking boots, as well as clothes that will protect you.

will you be planning on doing laundry is probly the most important thing. once you have decided that, then move on to the mixing and matching parts

Try flying with Lyingair and paying their excess baggage fees a couple of times. You soon learn how to pack light.

I thought it was enough beach clothes, then an outfit for each evening plus NYE

So how do I cut it down?

Take more than one sundress. Then you can throw them on for the beach and for shopping after being at the beach

Oh I'm jealous though.

I used to just take 4 sundresses but they are all too big now

Bump as I am sitting here looking at piles of clothes & I don't know where to start
