Where is still warm for an October holiday?

Where in Europe would you recommend for an October holiday? We have done Spain and Majorca which were warm enough when out walking but the sea and swimming pools were freezing so we could not enjoy the beach or waterparks etc.
We have limited resorts from our local airport - what about Tenerife, Bulgaria, Turkey? Thanks,

Read my feedback on Tenerife, good all year round Island. Heated pools etc.
And avail from local airports - 4 hrs flight.
Can be expensive, and hotels do vary ie what is 5 by Thomson isnt necessarily of 5 standard and I was shocked to see the location of some of the so called 5* hotels. Always read the reviews on Travel Advisor before booking thank god I did because I saw some of these hotels and wont be happy to stay there. You pay more to stay on the beach but its worth it. Best areas are Duque from Hotel Jardines upwards.

Turkey is nice in October, the weather is good, warm in the day time, a little cooler at night, although the last week isn't the best time to go as resorts are closing and sometimes it can rain briefly. The sea is still warm in October but I would say the beginning rather than the end would be the better time to go.
